Route Description: Approached from Brown's Creek. Skied North Face. Data: Left Brown's Creek TH (8960') at 3:30 am. Hiked 5.5 miles to Brown's Lake, took about 3 hours to get there. Trail mostly dry until then. Began boot packing up snow from near the lake. Reached summit at 10:30 or 10:45 am (14,155') . Began skiing just after 11 am. Skied to about 11,300 ft. Followed trail back to trailhead. Arrived at car a bit before 3:30 pm, just under 12 hours. Total vert climbed: 5200'. Total vert skied: 2850' or 2900'. Relevant Links: TGR Trip Report |
